What is the D.I.M.E.S. CSR 2.0 PLEDGE? - D.I.M.E.S.

D.I.M.E.S. (Diversity In Media, Entertainment, Sport) is a CSR 2.0 (Corporate Social Responsibility) program and initiative designed by The P.A.S.C.A.L. Foundation (ANBI) to create a mutual synergy between media, sports, and entertainment companies/organizations along with industry talent identifying as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), LGBTQ+, Women, Non-binary and persons living with disability + other underserved and underrepresented groups.

The initiative also has a special focus on providing strategic and innovative DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) support to media and allied industry players, companies and organizations, in discharging their desired CSR Programs, with a focus on benefitting underserved and underrepresented members of the society.

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT IS OUR MISSION

D.I.M.E.S. is formed by a group of local and international industry experts from the TV, Film, Music, Entertainment, Media and Sport sector whose mission is to create diversity-centered strategies and programs that will pave way for the overall inclusion of underserved and underrepresented groups within the media, entertainment and sports industry through effective partnerships.

The major goal of the D.I.M.E.S initiative is to enthrone the tenets of diversity and inclusivity within the media, entertainment and sports industry. The initiative aims at creating a lasting impact for a radical but sustainable change in the work culture that encourages racial injustice, inequality and general discrimination of persons who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color), LGBTQ+, Women, Non-binary and persons living with disability + other underserved and underrepresented groups.

D.I.M.E.S initiative is dedicated to the achievement of the above goals through strategic partnerships and collaborations with business leaders and companies within the media, entertainment and sports industry.

OUR SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) COMMITMENT

Our work at D.I.M.E.S. is in conformity with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in other to ensure that inequalities that manifest in the forms of racism and all types of discriminations are eradicated while also promoting inclusivity that allows for the growth of all individuals in the workplace.

We particularly align our current programs and initiatives towards SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent work and Economic Growth) and SDG 10 (Reduced inequalities). This is evident in our D.I.M.E.S. Connect, D.I.M.E.S. Master-class, D.I.M.E.S. Empowerment Pact, and the D.I.M.E.S. TOP 100 Awards program.

We aim at getting a targeted number of 1000 companies to take the D.I.M.E.S. CSR 2.0 Pledge by 2030 to align with our adoption of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
